Specter is a monkey (Kuuta from Ape Escape Anime transformed from wearing a pipo hemet) who performed in the "Ape-Misbehavin' Magic Show" in Monkey Park and the primary antagonist of the Ape Escape series. He is known for being in command over the Pipo Monkeys and the Freaky Monkey Five. He is also known for his chair shaped hovercraft. He has various powers and abilities such as teleportation, mind control and telekinetic powers. It is possible that Specter is Albino.

Personality Edit

Specter is an aggressive and intelligent monkey when wearing the Peak Point Helmet. He tends to be cocky and sarcastic, however he can also have temper tantrums when a plan begins to go hay wire. Specter tends to let his monkeys and the Freaky Monkey Five do his work for him. He is always the final boss of the games, and can only be captured after all monkeys are captured.

In Ape Escape, Specter got a hold of the Peak Point Helmet. Specter then broke out of Monkey Park along with the other 267 monkeys. He then broke into the lab of Dr. Ozel (the professor) and stole more of the helmets before activating the time machine. At the same moment, Spike and Jake came into the lab, all three parties of specter and the monkeys, along with Jake and Spike, were teleported to different time lines.

Specter then contacted Dr.Ozel and his Grandaughter Natalie. This time wearing a modfied peak point helmet and a hover craft chair. A sign of his Intelligence and power, another sybol was the now brain washed Jake. Who Specter recalled as "A little friend for Spike to play with." And "Hes been completely reborn." He then warned that any attempt to fight him would be dealt with violently. Spike soon found Specter and Jake in a castle in the medeval period. Specter and Jake shared words with spike before heading back to the present to finish the taking over of Tokyo. Upon return the city had been turned into "Monkey land" and the Professor and Natalie had been kidnapped. After Spike shut down Specters factory he confronted the monkey again at the top of a modified TV station. Specter refused to return his kidnapped victims and tried to kill spike with his battle cruiser. After Spike survived Specter deiced to play a game of hid and seek with Spike by hiding The professor and Natalie in "Specter Land" a modified Monkey Park. Spike then fought with Jake in the bumper car section, the explosion of Jakes car woke Jake from the spell. Spike then found Specter in "Specter Castle". After a confrontation Specter tried to brain wash Spike the same way he did Jake. Because Spike refused to let more people be hurt by Specter he overcame the rays, Specter now Enraged jumped into the Gorriliac Armor. A gorrila shapped Robot. Spike beat the robot, Specter, knowing his defeat, teleported away leaving Spike to meet with Jake, Natalie, and the professor at the Lab.

After capturing all the monkeys, Specter can be found in Peak Point Matix, a realm created by Specter. After a final confrontation with specter, Spike captures the monkey ending his evil scheme. But without a helmet he's a really nice monkey, almost baby like.

Ape Escape 2

Thanks to Jimmy's accident from teleporting the helmets with the pants, Specter got hold of it again and plans to rule over humanity. He then gave rise to the Freaky Monkey Five and gave them Vita Z-Bananas, making them powerful. Specter then kidnapped Jimmy's monkey, Pipotchi and begins transferring the data into the Lethargy Laser, a laser gun which make all humans lose movitations to resist Specter's plans of world domniation. After rescuing Pipotchi, Jimmy confronts Specter at the miltary base but was cut short by Yellow Monkey, which forces Specter to flee to his moon base. Jimmy managed to captured Specter before he could fire the laser and the Lethargy Laser was destroyed. However, he escaped through a weak spot when the Professor was fixing the transporter. Jimmy captures all the monkeys and then confronted Specter in a final battle. Specter is captured again and his plans was foiled.

Ape Escape 3

Specter had gotten ahold of the helmet again by unexplained ways. He also revived the Freaky Monkey Five to again be his gaurds of five TV stations all over the world, these TV stations broadcast hypnotic shows wich brainwash people into watching them over and over again. Natalie contacted Kei, Yumi, and their Aunt Auki. Yumi and Kei then started to capture the monkeys and fight the freaky monkey five. After the first Tv station is destroyed Specter contacts The trio along with his partner, Dr.Tomoki. A scientist who used to work with Auki. It is later revealed that Specters true plan is to launch a chop rocket from his space station to crack the Earth in half, keeping one for himself and the other for Tomoki. How ever, after Kei and yumi defeat Tomoki, it is revealed Tomoki has a monkey helmet fused to his head from a past accident. Specter makes fun of Tomoki soon after, resulting in Tomoki having a change of heart and helping the kids to reach SPACE STATION-SARU-003. Specter reveals he never cared about Tomoki and tells his plan for the world before jumping into King Gorriliac, a much larger robot model of the first Gorrliac Amour. Soon after the robot is defeated Specter battles the children stating he is very angery and that no mercy shall be given. Specter then uses a mixture of Rockets, Phychic powers and telekinnecektics. But is captured, Tomoki then seemingly kills himself by activating the space stations self destruct feature after Kei and Yumi jump in a escape pod. Soon after, Monkey Pink who was not captured earlier reveals she freed Specter, and the rest of the freaky monkey five. After the five and the remaining monkeys are caught, the heros fight Specter in a chunk of Saru-003 that is still intact. Specter is then captured ending his schemes yet again.

AppearanceEdit

Unlike the other regular Pipo Monkeys, Specter has white fur and a Bluish spikey hair-do. It is possible that he looks this way becuase he is Albino. He has a more of a human shaped head and face structure. Specter also wears his black cape that covers over his chest.

Ape EscapeEdit

In the beginning of Ape Escape Specter finds a prototype of the Professor's lost "Peak Point Helmet" and puts it on not knowing what it is able to do. The helmet gives Specter an incredible intellect and incredible powers, with which Specter uses to take command over and free the other monkeys from Monkey Park. Along with his army of monkeys, Specter hi-jacks the Professor's lab in order to send himself and his group of apes through time to alter history using the Professor's newest invention: The Time Machine. Spike and Jake were both originally going to the Lab to use the newly finished time machine. The Time Machine takes Spike, Jake, Specter, and the Pipo Monkeys all back in time along with two of the Gadgets that the Proffesor had created. The two gadgets were the Stun Club and the Monkey Net. Specter manages to use his powers to brainwash Jake and uses him for evil purposes.

Spike managed to travel through time to catch all the monkeys from the differant time periods, rescues Jake and defeats and captures Specter who is returned back to the amusement park.But seriorsly how does he get the hlemet for the 3RD time in a row!!!!!!!!

Specter has many powers when using the peak point helmet.

SPECTER

Psychic powers such as mind control, the ability to predict outcomes, the ability to read minds. Telekinetic powers, such as the ability to lift crates and throw them at the player along with the ability to pound the ground with the Gorriliac head to create shockwaves. Some elemental powers such as the ability to create fire balls, and electric bursts. EMP blasts are also included.

LEVITATION THRONE

Can shoot rockets, project robotic arms (as shown in Ape Escape: Million Monkeys) The ability to move fast and the abilty to be remote controled By Specter for Ramming attacks.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle RoyaleEdit

Specter appears as a non-playable hazard character in the crossover fighting game, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.  He appears in the Time Station stage (which is based on the hub area from the original Ape Escape), where he will constantly summon various creatures from various PlayStation franchises using the time portal, such as a Harpy from God of War III, a Lurker Shark from the Jak and Daxter series and a Vermin truck from Twisted Metal.  He can also summon Pipo Monkeys and the main stage hazard, the Satan Chimera from the Resistance series.

Specter also appears in the game as a downloadable minion.
